CONNECTING THE BODY - CONTEMPORARY TECHNIQUE
Attention! 2G event (vaccinated/recovered)!
Due to Covid-19, we cannot offer open classes for professional dancers at the moment. Therefore we offer intensive courses with a limited number of participants. These courses last 3 days each and take place Monday to Wednesday from 10:30am - 12:30pm. A ticket (15€) allows you to participate on all 3 days. Single classes cannot be attended. A registration with a short CV at email@example.com is absolutely necessary. You will receive a link to buy a ticket.
During the course, the basic elements of contemporary dance training are internalised. Our skills perfect our technique and ground us. Training begins with a warm-up that incorporates elements of yoga, strength and cardio training to tune into the body. Dance combination sequences are created that focus on technical skills and the ability to flow freely and move through space. The training builds itself organically and integrates dynamic movements initiated on the floor by specific body parts. It results in energetic jumping sequences and choreographies that allow the release of the power gathered throughout the training.
40% Movement on place, Concentration on technique
20% Movement across the floor/ in space
15% Sports science & strength development
25% Surrender to the flow of movement
