ZEITGENÖSSISCHER TANZ TRIFFT URBAN SKETCHING

Movement meets drawing! This interplay is the theme of the course, which takes place together and in artistic exchange with the Urban Sketching meets Contemporary Dance course at K3. Both groups mix and inspire each other: the focus is on the interaction between movement and drawing. While dancing, the participants are drawn by another course and the drawings form the inspiration for further dance experiences.

The course takes place in exchange with the Urban Sketching meets Contemporary Dance course. Openness towards visual artistic exploration and the joy of being observed and captured in drawings enrich the joint work.

Please wear comfortable training clothing | open to all interested with and without previous knowledge

Gitta Barthel

works across the fields of art, art outreach and academic research and teaches contemporary dance and choreography at various universities and training centres. As the result of her long relationship as a research associate with the Institute for Movement Research/Performance Studies at the University of Hamburg, she is currently writing her doctorate on Choreografische Praxis.
