Dance for Young Audience: stage production

LIGNA Medien-und Performance-Kunst-Kollektiv

A Room without Walls (8+)

Without ever meeting physically, children from the cities of Frankfurt, São Paulo, Beirut and La Union in the Philippines have embarked on a joint search for traces and explored how we come together beyond national borders. Now, using headphones, they invite other children aged between 8 and 12 to embark on this extraordinary and adventurous journey with them again at Kampnagel, towards a space without walls that can be entered from anywhere.

Idea, concept & artistic direction: LIGNA
Choreography: Alejandro Ahmed, Ghida Hachicho, Eisa Jocson
Sound design: Charlotte Simon
Dramaturgy: Anna Wagner
Mediation: Sām Sabor
Production management: Marijan Randak

The performances on 19 November will take place at KuB Bad Oldesloe (Beer-Yaacov-Weg 1, 23843 Bad Oldesloe). More info

LIGNA Medien-und Performance-Kunst-Kollektiv

LIGNA consists of media and performance artists Ole Frahm, Michael Hueners, and Torsten Michaelsen. Coming from a media activist background, their work since 2002 has created situations that view their audience as a collective of producers. Together with Mousonturm, the collective has developed numerous productions, including “Klasse Kinder!” (2018) and “Zerstreuung überall” (2020).

For "A room without walls (8+)", the performance group LIGNA invited choreographers Eisa Jocson in La Union (Philippines), Alejandro Ahmed in Sao Paulo (Brazil), and Ghida Hachicho in Beirut (Lebanon) to collaborate with them.
