Spirit of Ireland: Irish Celtic

This is pure joie de vivre and warm hospitality, gripping storytelling and rousing live Irish music. All this awaits the audience at "Spirit of Ireland" when host Paddy invites them to his time-honoured pub, the "Irish Celtic", for an exuberant evening. Even more: the "Spirit of Ireland" reveals the true elixir of life in Ireland - dance and music in their millennia-old tradition.Irish Celtic invites the audience to an exuberant Irish evening full of joie de vivre with fantastic Irish dance choreographies, an outstanding tap dance ensemble and decidedly good humour. A five-piece live band plays the enthralling music, from traditional Irish folk to fairy-like melodies and stormy dance music. The outstanding tap dance ensemble and the Irish band interpret the best-known evergreens of Irish music together. Sometimes graceful and light as a feather, then again full of energy and bursting with temperament, the dancers whirl across the stage and take the audience with them into a culture where conviviality is a matter of course and hospitality a matter of honour. Especially in the "Public Houses", the famous Irish pubs, this old tradition of Irish dance and its music lives on. This is where modernity and tradition meet: with ravishing humour, Paddy leads us in seemingly countless anecdotes through the history of Ireland, its myths and legends - from its Celtic origins to the present day.
