COUNTERTECHNIQUE

A one-time accreditation is required for participation in the professional training. The Accreditation allows you to purchase tickets for the professional training. Click here for the conditions of participation.

Countertechnique® stretches, coordinates and strengthens the body, works on the cardio-vascular system and builds stamina. The class starts with a recurring set of exercises, allowing dancers to investigate the Countertechnique® principles in detail. The  second half of the class consists of changing components, working towards luscious movement combinations. The Countertechnique® class results in dancers using less energy, losing their fear of taking risks and gaining speed in changing direction.

Mariko Koh

received a BA from Kobe College (JP) in 2012, was a member of the Ballet junior de Genève (CH) and worked at the Stadttheater Bremerhaven (DE). She works as a freelance performer throughout Europe and is a guest dancer at Of Curious Nature (DE). She became a certified teacher of Countertechnique® in 2022.
