Die Antwort goes live. Their production LIVESTREAM brings the endlessness of the feed onto the stage through a string of social dances. Whether it's Nae Nae or Chicken Noodle Soup, Bart Simpson or the Mike Tyson – how do social dances change when they are no longer performed together, but alone in front of the camera of a mobile phone? In this piece, Die Antwort confronts the fundamental question of how digitalization is influencing hip hop as an art form and pushing its commodification.

Die Antwort

is connected by the unconditional love of dancing, unattached to stage or institution. Part of Die Antwort are: Foxy, DJ and hip hop dancer with a style characterized by elegance and fluid movements, Mady specialized in hip hop and afro. Anyone who has seen Mady dance knows that the Spirit guides her. Freshca lives out her creativity in hip hop and graphic design. Her dancing is precise and full of risk taking and Chanel who is a hip hop dancer with energetic hands that can tell stories. They themselves have provided for their discipline and the development of their personal styles. With Goddy and Precious, Die Antwort is complete. The performance LIVESTREAM is choreographed and performed by Mady, Freshca, Chanel and Foxy.
