PEOPLE WHO SHARE K3 STUDIOS

People who share K3 studios is the name of the event, an invitation to the audience and the name of the chat group of the new K3 resident choreographers Daniella Preap, Aloali'i Tapu, Enad Marouf and Eng Kai Er. They will be in Hamburg for eight months and share the K3 studios. At the end of September, the three will open the studio doors for the first time to give an insight into their themes and working methods, to engage in conversation and to try things out together. Daniella Preap researches traditional Khmer dances and embeds them in a contemporary context. Eng Kai Er from Singapore explores the concept of labour, both historically and autobiographically. Aloali'i Tapu, Samoan dance artist from New Zealand, explores his identity in the dance scene. Enad Marouf is a Syrian/German performance and video artist who will explore queer intimacy, loss and memory in Hamburg.
