L'APRÈS-MIDI D'UNE LICORNE
What remains unique when a classic symbol is replaced by cliché-loaded banality? L'Après-midi d'une licorne searches for queerness and uniqueness in the image of a unicorn. With fragments from Nijinsky's The Afternoon of a Faun and the 16th century tapestries of La Dame à la Licorne, this dance performance is both a homage to and a refusal of traditional and heterosexual dance norms.
