Dance is turquoise: pieces by international choreographers and Hamburg’s independent dance scene are created in K3's three dance studios. K3 offers a wide range of classes and discussion formats for dancers and dance enthusiasts of all ages. Located centrally within the Kampnagel premises, K3 functions as an independent dance house.

24.06. - 30.07.2023
Free Studio Space

During our summer break we don't want our studios to stay empty and therefore we make them available for dance productions and choreographic work processes of Hamburg dance artists from 24 June to 30 July. The studios are only offered for time periods of at least one week; use by the hour or day is not possible.

If you are interested, please send us an email with a short description of your project and your favoured time period to tanzplan[at]kampnagel.de before 15 May.

Choreographers in Residence 2024/2025
Choreographers in Residence 2024/2025

At the end of our current K3 residency, we announce which choreographers will be working with us for eight months next season:
Maria Mercedes Flores Mujica is a Venezuelan dance artist based in Cologne. In her research she will look into Joropo, a couple dance with binary gender roles. Her process seeks ways to celebrate, reconnect and heal the relationship with the feminine.
Robert Ssempijja is a Ugandan contemporary artist and dancer. His research follows the architecture of Kampala and it’s enduring legacy of the city’s colonial past, the resilience of its inhabitants, and the role of structural design in shaping identity.
Constantin Trommlitz is a German dancer, choreographer, and filmmaker based in Amsterdam. For his very personal approach in processing and expressing his own chronic pain he will connect to experiences of dancers in and outside of the Breaking Scene.

We are looking forward to welcome them in August!
