This class incorporates methods from the Horton technique, Countertechnique, Bartenieff Fundamentals and principles of Butoh technique. The class starts at the lowest level and works its way up into the vertical plane. The focus of the class is on body awareness and the interconnection between movement and breathing. The class also explores spirals, the act of falling and the qualities of heaviness vs. lightness. Towards the end, the class incorporates the content previously worked on into dynamic movement phrases.

Hannes-Michael Bronczkowski

studied at the Duke Ellington School of the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. and at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. He then joined the Stadttheater Gießen & the Nationaltheater Mannheim. Since 2016, he has been working internationally as a freelance dancer, choreographer. and lecturer.
