Call for Applications K3 | Tanzplan Hamburg Short Term Residency 2012

Support and promotion of young choreographers, training and professional development courses and the promotion of contemporary dance – these are the focal points of K3 – Zentrum für Choreographie | Tanzplan Hamburg.
Within the framework of a short term residency-program, K3 | Tanzplan Hamburg is offering residencies to students, who are currently graduating from dance or choreography study and education programs, or who have graduated not longer than one year ago. Duration of the residency will be May 25th to June 15th, 2012. During the three-week-residency there will be the possibility to work on choreographic researches or projects. As a conclusion of the residency, the projects and researches will be presented in a public showing. Up to five residencies are offered.
The Residency Program includes:
* travel costs, per diem, accomodation (if required)
* Use of the K3-Studios, in coordination with other choreographers in residence as well as the program of K3 (training, workshops, etc.)
* As conclusion of the residency program there will be a public showing
* Artistic and dramturgical supervision during the residency
Who can apply:
* Students, who are currently graduating from dance or choreography education programs, or who have already graduated not longer than one year ago.
* Applications of individuals as well as teams up to 3 persons are possible.

* Draft of project- or research-plan (1 page max.)
* Tabular curriculum vitae (1 page max.). Please don’t send a portrait of yourself!
* If available send web links (vimeo, youtube, etc.). Please don´t send DVDs !
