The teacher-workshop will take place from September to December in six sessions with the focus on Dance in School - Dance, Bots and Rooms.
Experienced local and international choreographers offer an action-oriented and practical insight into their artistic research.
The choreographers will present their artistic practices, link them with elements of choreographic methods and create connections, e.g. to curricular topics, in order to integrate contemporary dance into lessons.
The series can only be taken consecutively. You will receive a certificate after completing the series. Previous experience is not necessary. You must be willing to move, to be moved and to question the practices presented for your target group.
You can choose between a fixed Monday or Tuesday date from 18:00 - 21:00. Please make sure that you commit to Monday or Tuesday.
Only dates 1 and 6 will take place together with both groups on a Tuesday, dates 2-5 in fixed small groups on Monday or Tuesday.

A further training series for teachers who are already working in dance at schools
with Teresa Hoffman
The choreographer and dancer Teresa Hoffmann will present elements of her choreographic working methods on seven dates. Inspired by the poem "what the coral said"* by the poet Alexis Pauline Gumbs, the participants will develop a dance-based improvisational language that can be incorporated into dance and theater classes at school.
Based on observations of movement phenomena, group improvisations are created in the studio. These form the basis for the score of a performance at the end of the training.
The further training series is designed to build on one another from practical meetings in which the participants generate, try out, phrase and choreograph active movement material in order to transfer their own dance experiences into the lessons.
Cost of the entire training series: 95EUR
