DANCE FOR PEOPLE WITH PARKINSON'S
Hybrid Course - Meetings in Presence and Digital
Both people with and without movement impairments are invited to experiment and engage in dance together. We will go on exciting mental and physical journeys of discovering the body and the senses, both in the dance studio and online, through exercises and dance improvisations. Individual needs and bodies will be addressed. We aim to establish a creative space with little to no barriers that allows for both sitting or standing while sharing the joy of dancing and experiencing positive body sensations. Movement limitations are integrated in an appreciative way – every movement contains the potential of impulses for new movement patterns that can be discovered and danced. The aim is to translate the experiences gained in a joint improvisational choreography during the final workshop.
