SPIELFIEBER IM ZEITGENÖSSISCHEN TANZ
In this practical workshop, social games and games of chance as well as role-playing and competitive games form the impulse for the dance practice. How do games inspire our movement imagination and how can the rules of games be transferred into choreographic structures? We invent orders of interaction for dance, use our reflexes and intuition and explore the relationship between intention and chance, order and chaos. We dance mikado, sudoku, chess, dominoes and much more. Film examples from dance pieces that explore concepts of play link the experiences to stage dance.
