PARTICIPATORY ART BASED RESEARCH – RESPONSE TO WAYS OF WORKING TOGETHER

Various concepts of artistic and art-based research have been developed over the past two decades. Participatory Art Based Research (PABR) as one of them has been explored in Hamburg since 2012 in the context of a transdisciplinary collaboration with HafenCity University and the Fundus Theater/ Theater of Research. With the website launch (pab-research.de), the digital symposium now makes the strategies, potentials and problems of participatory art-based research accessible. PABR formats will be discussed with the experts from other areas of artistic research Jamie Allen, Kai van Eikels, Anke Haarmann, Marijke Hoogenboom, Brandon LaBelle, Isabelle Stengers: In which ways can we research together?

The symposium will be streamed from the Fundus Theater/Theatre of Research.
