TALKING ABOUT DANCE

How do I talk about contemporary dance? How can the experience be put into words? Accompanied by Hamburg author and dance critic Irmela Kästner, participants of this course will visit current dance productions together. Introductory explanations and tools for "watching dance" provide ways to access, discuss and reflect on performances. The programme will include a piece by Sasha Waltz & Guests, the latest production by the French company COLLECTIF FAIR(E) and productions and rehearsals by our current choreographers-in-residence working at K3 - Centre for Choreography this season.

Open to all | No prior experience required
