Rhys Dennis
EMBODIED RITUALS
Rhys Dennis is currently resident choreographer at K3 and is researching family crises, death and rituals in Caribbean families. In this lab, he will guide participants through choreographic explorations that combine individual improvisation with touch-based group exercises. Together, they will examine how rituals and formal traditions can be constructed, deconstructed and reimagined through movement. Starting from the deep vibrations of dub sound system culture, they will explore how bass shapes our relationship to the body and can function as a vessel for movement.
The lab will be held in English | For professional dance practitioners | Ticket + course cover both days
