By continuously and sequentially directing parts of the body away from each other in space, Countertechnique allows the moving dancer to work with an ever-changing dynamic balance. This dynamic balance reduces the pressure on the overall body structure and can be changed at any given moment.

Isabelle Nelson

graduated from the New Zealand School of Dance in 2011 and has since then worked as a performer for Landesbühnen Sachsen, Danstheater Aya, Dutch National Opera, Dadodans, Tanzcompagnie Giessen and Jelena Kostic amongst others. She also creates choreographic work with IN Dance Co. and teaches classes globally.
