Nora Elberfeld

Aside from working as a dancer and choreographer, she also teaches contemporary dance, improvisation and composition and has initiated performance projects e.g. with prisoners and girls with anorexia.
Based on her interest in the idea that performers always know more than the audience, she will be exploring this imbalance during her residency as a form of conspiracy that is automatically inherent in the performance arts. What kinds of structures develop when one group knows more than the others? When does a conspiracy become stronger than its source and in doing so infiltrate its own origins in the process?
