Dance for young audience 14+
How does it feel like when someone gets so close to me, that I can feel the breath? Should I stay or go? What does it actually mean to be close to someone? Beyond sexualized pictures in the internet, xoxo questions, what it means to desire another body and empowers to exchange feelings in a self-determined way.

Hamburg-based choreographers show short choreographic experiments and insights to their rehearsal processes and open them to discussion. This will be followed by the opportunity to discuss about the different work approaches and to chat with the artists over a glass of water or wine.

February 17th – 23rd 2020
7th BIENNALE DANCE EDUCATION 2020 HAMBURG
The Biennale Dance Education is the network meeting of a future dance generation. Students of educational institutions from Germany and around the world come together for a week to exchange ideas, to gather joint experience and to communicate their perspective on the art form dance. In cooperation with the Hamburg Ballet, the School of the Hamburg Ballet and the National Youth Ballet, the choreographic center K3 | Tanzplan Hamburg and Kampnagel will welcome students and provide time, space and occasion for mutual exchange.
March 19th – April 4th 2020
Every year in March/April, K3 presents three world premieres by three young international choreographers. As a conclusion of their eight-month residency at K3, Raymond Liew Jin Pin, Luísa Saraiva and Maria Zimpel present the pieces they developed during that time. The performances are accompanied by a program of workshops and warm-ups, lectures and discussions, audience discussions and introductions.

Dance for young audience 10+
A physical approach to fear and trust. The dancers constantly create changing scenes, which evoke collective pictures of danger, solidarity, confrontation and protection.

Lee Méir, André Lewski VON HIER NACH DORT
Dance for young audience 9+
Von hier nach dort is an interactive performance for children and adults, where the participants are invited to come on a journey with us to explore one of the most exciting questions of life: What does it mean to die? In von hier nach dort we will meet the unknown with the help of our imagination.
June 26th – 27th 2020
In the context of the Limited Edition format, K3 enables young Hamburg based emerging choreographers to delve into the conditions of production in the independent scene for the first time. After a multi-week residency all productions will be presented back to back in the course of two evenings.
