Choreographers in Residence 2011/2012

For the first time this year´s choreographers in residence started their eight-month K3-residency in August 2011, adjusted to the interval of the season. Due to this fact their productions will be shown in february and march 2012.
Out of over 100 applications following choreographers have been chosen for the residency program:
- Paula Rosolen (Argentina | Frankfurt)
- Ursina Tossi (Hamburg)
- Jana Unmüßig (Berlin)
Paula Rosolen (Argentina) She graduated from the HfMDK in Frankfurt and the MACuP in Giessen. Her MA piece, “Die Farce der Suche -Ein Solo von und über Renate Schottelius-” (2010) was performed at the Akademie der Künste Berlin, Frankfurt LAB, Theater festival 150% Hamburg, European Festival For Contemporary Dance in Bytom / Krakow and is invited for the Biennale Tanzausbildung 2012. Since August 2011 until April 2012 is resident choreographer at K3 | Tanzplan Hamburg.
Ursina Tossi (Hamburg), is choreographer/dancer and mother of two daughters. She studied classical ballett and contemporary dance as well as philosophy. She worked with Tamaki Serizawa, Filip van Huffel, AkiKato, Isabel Navarro, Johannes Miethke and was founder of Tossi-Company in 2005. Besides contemporary dance she also integrates body techniques like Feldenkrais and Yoga into her vocabulary of moevement. In 2008 she initiated all 1-forum, an annual interdisciplinary platform for contemporary dance and art in Hamburg.
Jana Unmüßig (Berlin) studied Arts du Spectacle at University Sorbonne and Contemporary Dance and Choreography at SEAD Salzburg. In August 2010 she received a Master in Choreography at Hochschulübergreifenden Zentrum Tanz (HZT) in Berlin. Her works have been shown at Hebbel am Ufer Berlin, Tanztage Berlin/Sophiensaele, Atelier PACT Zollverein, Monaco Dance Forum, Monte Carlo, Springdance Festival Utrecht and others. She was danceWEB-scholarship holder 2010 and got residencies at Movement Research New York, Theatre Tangente/Lynda Gaudreau, Montreal, RE-AL in Lissabon, etc.
