choreography under discussion

In the season 08/09, K3 started Moving Heads, a series of talks which is focussing on the interfaces between dance, choreography and performance as an artistic experience and theoretical discussion, considering as well the aesthetic, historic and socio-political background.

Futhermore we would like to create new forms of communication between the audience, artists, academics and institutions.

GESA ZIEMER: artistic research: positions and perspectives

Over the past few years, many links have been developed between artistic and scientific research. Has art become more discursive and science more hybrid?
On these three evenings, the Metropolitan Culture department from the HafenCity University in Hamburg and K3 | Tanzplan Hamburg will begin a new series in which the participants will study and edit theoretical texts as well as discuss theories and their consequences for knowledge production.

We request that you register at least a week before the date on which you would like to participate so that we can inform you which texts will be dealt with.

Registration at tanzplan2@kampnagel.de
